At Shyamala Heritage Homes & Pet Café, we believe every wagging tail and every act of kindness can create ripples of change. Our Volunteer Program is open to dog lovers, students, travelers, and locals who want to be part of a community built on compassion, connection, and care.

This is not a formal, corporate volunteering program — it is a hands-on, heart-led experience where you become an active part of daily life at Shyamala. You will spend your time closely working with the dogs, caring for them, understanding their behavior, feeding them, walking them, and helping them feel safe and loved. At the same time, you will interact with guests, assist the team with day-to-day activities, and contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who visits. It is less about structured schedules and more about meaningful participation, compassion, and real connection — with the animals, the people, and the peaceful surroundings. This experience allows you to learn, give, and grow while making a genuine difference through your presence and effort.
